FAMILY LAW & BASIC
ESTATE PLANNING
An intersection between family law and estate planning
The intersection between family law and estate planning comes to the forefront whenever there are major life changes including, but certainly not limited to marriage, divorce, domestic partnerships, birth of a child, adoption, death of a family member or loved-one, or simply wanting to create a lasting legacy for your loved-ones.
Our office provides assistance with crafting basic estate planning documents to ensure that your wishes are expressly conveyed in legally sound and enforceable written documents such as a Living Will, a Last Will and Testament, a Health Care Surrogate, and/or a Durable Power of Attorney.
We do not provide assistance with complex estate planning.
